Moscot glasses
New York heritage label Moscot is an institution and synonymous with American eyewear. Established over 100 years ago by Hyman Moscot, who originally sold glasses out of a pushcart, it is still a family-run business now in its fifth generation.
Still operating on the same street as its second home some nine decades later, the flagship store is a must-see retail destination in the Lower East Side and can be seen from afar for its signature bright yellow façade.
Seen in numerous period films, most recently styling the stars of Hollywood blockbuster Oppenheimer, and with Moscot eyewear on famous faces such as Jeff Goldblum, Demi Moore, Michelle Wiliams…the list goes on and on.
Not surprising, as this brand has stuck to its roots and produces classic shapes that have stood the test of time. And while many other lables have tried over the years to produce similar styles, we think imitation is the best form of flattery!
